6.08.11: *Idag fandt Uriah også en ejer, så dagbogen for dette kuld er lukket, og hvalpene opdateres fremover via deres egne sider, under U-kuld registeret samt under "Om U-hvalpene". Vi ønsker alle de dejlige hvalpe fra kuldet en god fremtid med deres familier. 6.08.11: *Today Uriah also has a new owner, so the diary for this litter is now closed, and the pups will be updated on their own pages, in the U-litter info and in "Concerning the U-pups". We wish all the lovely pups from this litter a nice future with their families.

9.07.11: *To skønne Groenendael-hanhvalpe på 10 uger søger nye ejere. Begge drenge er ved at være gode til at køre i bil og være på bytur i snor - de har begge et fantastisk væsen, er fulde af selvtillid og er meget åbne og tillidsfulde, som hele dette kuld - kuldet er et af de bedste, vi har haft, og det sidste efter Izola, som har givet os den ene hund bedre end den anden i hendes tidligere kuld; se M-kuldet og N-kuldet for mere info. *Begge hvalpe vil egne sig til næsten alle typer nye ejere inkl. børnefamilier. Se Uzi, som er den største af dem, og hans bror, Uriah, for fotos samt U-kuldet for mere info om dette kuld. 9.07.11: *Two gorgeous Groenendael male pups, 10 weeks of age, are on the outlook for new owners. Both boys are becoming used to driving in our car and walking in town in a leash - they both posses a super character, they are full of confidence and very outgoing and trusting, just like all the pups from this litter - the litter is one of the very best, that we have raised, and the last one from Izola, who has delivered one dog better than the other in her past litters; see the M-litter and the N-litter for more. *Both pups will be suited for almost any type of new owner incl. families with children. 29.06.11: *Så er mange af U-hvalpene flyttet hjemmefra. Vi har stadig 3 drenge på 9 uger, som søger nye ejere - se hvilke hvalpe, der er ledige, under U-hvalpene. *Vi er begyndt at køre byture med de hvalpe, der stadig er hos os, så de vænner sig til bil, at gå i snor samt byliv. Og de klarer det bare fint. *Herunder foto af hvalpenes halvbror, Night, med en Tervueren. 29.06.11: *Many of the U-pups have moved from home. We have still 3 boys, 9 weeks of age, available for new owners - see who is available under the U-pups. *We have started driving to the town, so the pups, who still are with us, get used to the car, walking in a leash and life and action in town. 19.06.11: *Så blev det U-kuldets tur til at blive mentaltestet. Trine kom over fra Fyn med sine hunde og var hos os fra fredag til lørdag, så vi kunne starte testene om fredagen og gøre dem færdige om lørdagen. Resultaterne var virkeligt flotte - igen et helt kuld, og denne gang et meget stort kuld - som uden undtagelse testede godt hele vejen igennem. Meget harmoniske og mentalt afbalancerede hvalpe, som vi kan være stolte af! Det er jo bare dejligt at opdrætte med sådanne resultater :o) *I morgen eftermiddag skal hvalpene chippes, hvorefter de begynder at flytte hjemmefra. *Mange nye fotos under U-kuldet uge 5-8 og på hver hvalps egen side samt et udvalg herunder. Uncas, som allerede er et badedyr - Uluka & Unika and Uncas, who already loves water! 19.06.11: *Then it was the U-pups' turn to go through the mentality-test. Trine came on Friday and brought her dogs also, so she could stay with us to Saturday, so we started testing on Friday and were able to finish on Saturday. The results were really nice - again an entire litter, and this time a huge litter - which, with no exceptions, tested so nicely all the way through. Very harmonic and mentally balanced pups, who made us proud! It's a joy to breed with results like those :o) *Tomorrow afternoon the pups will be chipped, and then they will begin to move from home. *Many new photos under U-puppies week 5-8 and some new of each of the pups' own page and a selection above.

29.05.11: *U-hvalpene er nu en måned gamle, og deres udvikling tager fart. De er ret aktive og kommer myldrende, når der er besøg, omend aktiviteten fortsat afbrydes af mange sovestunder. Når vejret er til det, er de ude i hvalpegården det meste af dagen, hvor de tumler med hinanden - ellers er de fortsat i hvalperummet i køkkenet, hvor de hører lydbånd og radio. *Hvalpene har fået den anden ormekur nu. *Vi begynder snart at introducere hvalpene til vores venlige voksne hunde. *Hvalpene virker yderst harmoniske og tillidsfulde, og vi forstår hvorfor - udover deres genetiske baggrund - når vi ser, hvor enormt omsorgsfuld og rolig deres mor, Izola, er, når hun tager sig af dem. *Mange nye fotos under U-hvalpene på hver deres side samt i deres fælles album fra uge 3-5. Mor og hvalpe i en hyggestund i hvalpegården - Mum and pups are having a cozy time in the puppy-yard. 29.05.11: *The U-pups are one month of age, and their development is speeding up. They are pretty active and come tumbling, when they have visitors. They are now outside in our puppy-yard, when the weather is behaving. Or they stay in the puppy-room in our kitchen, where they hear CD of different sounds as well as radio. *Soon, we start to introduce the pups to our friendly grown dogs also. *The pups seem to be very harmonic and trusting pups, and we understand why - besides their genetical background - when we see how extremely considerate and calm their mother, Izola, is taking care of them. *Lots of new photos under each of the U-pups and in their mutual photoalbum from week 3-5. 15.05.11: *Alt går fortsat fint med Izolas 11 U-hvalpe, som nu er stambogsført i Dansk Kennel Klub. *Pigerne kommer til at hedde: Umilla & Undine. *Drengene kommer til at hedde: Ukko, Uncas, Ulysses, Uluka, Unika, Uzi, Urchin, Uriah & Uippy. *Alle hvalpene får kennel-navnet Coeur-Ami foran deres navn og Blue efter deres navn, som angivelse af, at de er Groenendael. *Hvalpene har åbnet øjnene og er lige på nippet til at åbne øregangen også. De har fået den første ormekur, og de begynder at spise rigtig mad i næste uge, og så kommer der hurtigt til at ske mere med deres udvikling. *Vi har i øvrigt besluttet at sætte prisen ned med 2.500 kr. på de hanhvalpe fra kuldet, som har lidt rigeligt hvidt på fusser og/eller bryst i forhold til det ønskede i race-standarden. Til gengæld anbefaler vi ikke, at de anvendes til udstilling/avl. *Vi ønsker en af hvalpene udstationeret - så kontakt os gerne, hvis det har interesse. *De første fotos af kuldet findes på kuld-siden i album uge 0-3 - samt lidt herunder. Izola i hvalperummet i vores køkken samt hvalpene på 18 dage - Izola in our puppyroom in the kitchen and the pups of 18 days of age. 15.05.11: *All is well with Izola's 11 U-pups, who now are registered in the Danish Kennel Club. *The girls will be named: Umilla & Undine. *The boys will be named: Ukko, Uncas, Ulysses, Uluka, Unika, Uzi, Urchin, Uriah & Uippy. *All the pups will have the kennel-name Coeur-Ami in front of their name and Blue after their name, as a note that the dog is a Groenendael. *The pups have opened their eyes and they are about to open their ears also. They also have had their first cure for "worms" and they begin to eat normal food next week, and then their development will speed up. *By the way, we have decided to lower the prize with 2.500 Dkr. of the male-pups from the litter, who have too much white on their feet and/or chest according to the optimal in the standard of the breed. *The first photos of the litter can be found at the litter-page in album week 0-3 - and a few above. 27.04.11: *Izola nåede at tage hele 9 kilo på, inden hun fødte kuldet i går aftes den 26. april - så hun har indtil videre rekorden som den drægtige tæve med den største mave, vi har haft! *Den første hvalp kom til verden kl. 17.37 og den sidste og nr. 11 kl. 23.42 efter en pause på 2½ time - så fødslen foregik i et tempo, som vidner om en tæve i fin form. Izola var totalt rolig under hele forløbet, og ligeså hvalpene - så de små har fået en fin start på livet. *Hvalpene, 9 drenge og 2 piger, er allesammen sorte, som forventet; nogle med hvidt på brystet og nogle også på fusserne. Fødselsvægten var meget ens for dem - mellem 360 og 450 gram. *Alle hvalpene er kommet godt gennem deres første levedøgn - og Izola klarer også alt så flot. *Vi er virkelig velsignet med fabelagtige hundemødre! *Så skal vi til at lægge hovederne i blød - det bliver ikke helt nemt at finde på 9 navne til hanhunde, som skal starte med "U"... 27.04.11: *Izola gained 9 kilos, before she gave birth to this litter yesterday evening on April 26 - so until further notice, she has the record of being the pregnant female with the biggest stomach, that we ever had! *The first puppy arrived to this world at 17.37 and the last, no. 11, at 23.42 after a break of 2½ hours - so the delivery was done in a speed witnessing a mother in good shape. Izola was totally calm during the whole event, and the pups too - so the babies had a nice start in life. *All the pups, 9 boys and 2 girls, are black, as expected; some with white on their chest and some at their feet also. The birthweight was quite even for them - in between 360 and 450 gr. *All the pups have dealed excellently with their first day of life - and Izola also handles all very nicely. *We are truly blessed with super mummies! *Now we have some thinking to do - not so easy to find 9 names for male dogs all starting with an "U"...

7.04.11: *Izola, som venter kuldet her, er temmelig truntet på nuværende tidspunkt, så vi forventer et pænt kuld efter hende og Capi omkring den 26. april. 7.04.11: *Izola, who is expecting this litter, is growing bigger day by day, so we expect a nice sized litter from her and Capi around April 26.

21.03.11: *Alt tyder på, at Izola og Capi venter hvalpe med forventet nedkomst omkring den 26-27. april. *Capi er nu godkendt til avl i Dansk Kennel Klub. 21.03.11: *It seems that Izola and Capi are expecting pups with expected birth around April 26-27. *Capi is by now approved for breeding in the Danish Kennel Club.

27.02.11: *Vi havde jo ellers omhyggeligt planlagt vores tur til Belgien og Frankrig med henblik på parring af Izola, men heldigvis besluttede vi at få taget en blodprøve hos dyrlægen for at måle Izolas hormonelle balance i mandags – og tirsdag midt på dagen fik vi svaret: HUN SKULLE PARRES SAMME DAG!! *Det er bare så typisk – nu troede vi lige, at vi havde god tid til at køre, men NÆEHH NEJ OG NIX!!! *Så vi fik pakket det sidste færdigt, fik ringet til opdrætteren af hanhunden i Frankrig og vores venner i Belgien, og så gik det afsted mod Frankrig i rekordtempo. Vi ankom nede hos hanhunden lidt i kl. 24 om natten mellem tirsdag og onsdag, og heldigvis var ejerne nogle utroligt søde mennesker, som stillede hund og hjem til rådighed for os på dette tossede tidspunkt. *Izola faldt for Capi med det samme - og det gjorde vi også, for sikke da en lækker dreng - og Capi og Izola parrede kort efter ved midnatstid og lidt over 1 om natten kørte vi videre mod Belgien, hvor vi ankom tidligt onsdag morgen. *Vi blev i Belgien et par dage, og fredag morgen kørte vi retur mod Danmark – smadder trætte men glade, fordi alt, trods alt, lykkedes perfekt! *Vi forventer kuldets fødsel om ca. to måneder. *Herunder et nat-foto af Capi og Izola, mens hundene hænger sammen under parringen. Izola & Capi. 27.02.11: *We did carefully plan our trip to Belgium and France with the main purpose of mating Izola, but luckily on Monday we decided to let the vet take a bloodtest to measure the hormonal status of Izola - and around noon on Tuesday, we got the answer: SHE SHOULD BE MATED THE SAME DAY!! *It's just typical - we were sure that we were in good time for the drive, but NOPE, NO AND NIX!!! *So, we did the last packing in no time, called the breeder of the male in France and our friends in Belgium, and fast forward we went in the direction of France. We arrived at the home of the male a little before 12 o'clock in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, and luckily the owners are extremely nice people, who opened their home for us at this crazy time. *Izola fell for Capi at once - and so did we, what a boy - and Capi and Izola mated shortly after around midnight. Around 1 in the night, we continued the drive to Belgium, where we arrived early Wednesday morning. *We stayed for a couple of days in Belgium, and friday morning we returned to Denmark - very tired but happy, because everything, considering the circumstances, succeeded perfectly! *We expect the birth of this litter in two months. *Above a night-photo of Capi and Izola, while the dogs are tied together during the mating-proces.

10.02.11: *Så gik Izola endelig i løbetid!! Super timing. *Alt er aftalt og planlagt, så vores andre hunde, kattene og hestene bliver passet godt, mens vi er væk. *Vi forventer at køre over Belgien derned for at besøge vores venner og være hos Capi fredag den 25. februar med forventet parring samme dag og dagen efter. Derefter skal vi hjemad, så vi er hjemme igen i god tid, inden Mischa skal føde S-kuldet. *Vi glæder os rigtigt meget til turen :D *Du kan se meget mere om forventningerne og forældrene til dette kuld her. 10.02.11: *At last, Izola is in heath!! Superb timing. *All is planned, so our other dogs, our cats and horses are looked after, while we are on the road. *We expect to drive over Belgium on the way out to visit our friends, and arrive to Capi on February 25, where we hope for a mating the same day and the day after.
